Description

The Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay grapes were all hand harvested from four key vineyards in the Carneros district, located in Sonoma County.The grapes were whole bunch pressed, 100% barrel fermented and completed secondary (Malolactic) fermentation. The wine was then aged in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels (18% new French oak) for 9 months before being bottled unfiltered. The Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay opens with brilliant aromas of white flowers and baked apple, layered with notes of toasted almonds and clementines.This is a complex wine that coats the palate while still displaying brisk acidity and a long, full finish.
